Rising up against the Bean

Thanks to LP for the link, I am now the owner of one “Shoot the Bean” Tshirt.

Get ’em here.

And shoot it I will. Word is that there will someday soon be a large gathering of photographers descending upon the park to SHOOT THE BEAN. Hmm. I wonder when…

i think some of us at Chicago Photobloggers (link below) are going to head on out to the bean and snap away once it’s unveiled in all its seamless glory. it’ll be sooooooo beautiful, we won’t be able to stop ourselves!

alana- did i see you at the chinese new year parade over the weekend? saw a gal who looked a bit like you taking photos of the dragons. it was crappy out and she was hooded and i was wearing rain spotted and fogged spectacles so i wasn’t sure if it was you. called your name and the girl gave me a funny look, so then i thought it wasn’t you.

was hoping to see some dragon photos here to confirm that it was.

well, hope you are doing well.

You did! And what’s funny is that I heard my name and looked around, but I had no idea where it came from. How funny!

    Thanks!

    Ok. Here’s another thought:

HOW MUCH ARE WE PAYING the security guards to stand around and enforce this no-photo “law”?

THOSE *are* public funds, even if where the green for the bean came from is gray.

    Grr.
