Sushi that delivers

I love ordering in food for myself. My boyfriend is a chef, which (ironically) means that I eat most of my meals alone (damn you, hospitality industry!). Cooking for one is just too wasteful and, frankly, I am entirely too lazy. But after a while, you get sick of the same old and need to find something new.

On Sunday, I wanted sushi more than a little kid wants a bebe gun. I couldn’t will myself to drive all the way to Rise for a pickup, and was frightened to have it delivered (as delivery sushi is usually akin to eating old plastic). But I took a chance and called up Katachi in Lakeview. Inexpensive (but not dangerously so), with a low delivery minimum and delivery charge. The food arrived super fast, with a bonus California maki for ordering over $15. The dragon roll was awesome, with something nice and sweet in the tempura batter. You can check out their full menu on Grubhub.

We’re scared to order sushi on Sunday, since there aren’t fresh fish deliveries made on Sunday, as far as I know.
