If you were planning on taking Lake Shore Drive this Sunday between the hours of 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. you got another thing coming. Bike the Drive is this weekend, so make sure to update your plans accordingly.

This annual event closes LSD between Hollywood and 57th to all automobile traffic so that bike riders can participate in a 15 or 30 mile ride. The best ride typically is to be had early in the morning when you can watch the sun rise and can hog your own space.

Watch out when you get north of Belmont; those potholes are horrendous. I blame them for ripping out the shocks on my car.
