The Trouble in London
From our colleagues at Metroblog London. It’s heartbreaking. I really don’t want to know about the horror in London. Like that movie scene with Jack Nicholson, I feel like I sometimes can’t handle the truth or at least don’t want to.
Somehow checking in with the London Metroblog helps me understand the terrible news in an appropriate, real way. I’m so sorry for them. I’m sorry for us all.
I’ve been trying to remind myself about a banner I saw being carried in Evanston’s Fourth of July parade by the (I think) Falun Gong community: There are forces other than fear at work in this world.
Yes, there are.
Be well.
