Lincoln Avenue Fire

Lincoln Ave Fire.jpg

Oh my. I was just driving home a few minutes ago and saw this fire that had burst out in the second floor of a brick condo building on the east side of Lincoln Avenue between Fullerton and Sheffield (the one just south of the Starbucks on the east side of the street). It was spreading at such a rapid pace that it made my heart race for the people living there. The fire trucks were pulling up when we detoured away. It looked like it may have been started by a grill on the second floor porch.

Hey, that fire was fortunately contained to the one unit, although that unit is devastated, all the other buildings around it are fine…crazy though…

That sounds like no one was hurt. Good.
