Bored of the Things

I need something new to do and write about so I’m opening the comments up for suggestions. Send me on an assignment.

The summer’s over half over, and I can’t waste any more of it. After waiting a whole winter for it to return, I let things knock me off track. I think I need a few nudges to bring me back.

Don’t just tell me to take a walk or ride a bike or something – give me something you’d want to read about later.

What, picking bar fights with strangers hasn’t turned out to be the wonderful hobby you imagined?

    1. Grab your camera and make a photo essay about your neighborhood.

    2. Grab your camera, get on the train, and make a photo essay about a neighborhood you’ve never been to before.

    3. Learn to ride a motorcycle, if you don’t already know how.

    4. Get a motorcycle and visit the farthest north, south, east, and west points of the city.

    5. Buy a food item you’ve never eaten before from a street vendor.

    6. Volunteer at a shelter and talk to the people there.

I was gonna recommend getting either a new job or a new drug, but Fuzzy’s suggestions are way better.
