$100 Rule

After spending some time in Chicago as a tourist with a family of four and a rotating duo of other relatives, I’ve decided that the cost of going out adheres to the 100 Rule. The rule states that anything a family of four plus two wants to do in Chicago will cost $100.

Field Museum? $100
Shedd? $100
Museum of Science & Industry? $100.
Afternoon tea at Russian Tea Time ? $100.
Dinner at Big Bowl? $100.

You get the idea.

BTW, I recommend the house blackcurrant tea at Russian Tea Time and the Red Hot Pepper Chicken Noodles at Big Bowl.
