I kid you not.

I passed a woman on the Edens on my way into work this morning and it literally took all my powers of self-control not to cut her off, slow down abruptly and force her off the road.

Why? What could lead such a peace loving soul as myslef to such a violent urge?

She was in the far left lane, toodling along at 50 miles per hour, while talking and holding her cell-phone in the crook of her neck and typing out something on her Blackberry with both hands.

I never thought I’d say this, but if I was a cop I would never have a problem meeting my quotas for traffic violations due to reckless drivers.

It must have been that kind of morning, cuz I was on the Edens as well and saw some idiot using the right shoulder as his own personal express lane. And you wouldn’t believe how many people tried to force him off to use the proper lanes. Just a bad situation created by some jerk who thinks he’s more deserving than the rest of us.

Maybe your guy thought he was in Cali and he deserved to use the carpool lane?

God I hate drivers on the Edens.

She sounds very important. She must have given her driver the morning off.
