Flip off the fake-mergers!

Every morning on my way out to the Edens, the people who cut in line by pretending to be coming off the express lane exit just infuriate me. IT’S CLOSED AND RUNNING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! So knock it off! No one believes that you are zipping by all us good kids who are waiting patiently because you just came off that ramp.

So I’ve taken to just flipping off everyone who passes me on the left up there in the a.m. It

This is one of my pet peeves as well. My tactic — at least once the lanes start to merge — is to pull as far as I can into the merge lane while still staying in my own lane. Sometimes the Fake Mergers can still get by me on the right, but other times I get the position just right and I manage to stop them in their tracks and force them to merge. I look in my rearview mirror, smile and give a little wave to the Fake Mergers who have now filed in behind me. It kinda makes my day.

You know, I’m surprised nobody’s hooked up a paint gun under the hood Mad-Max/Deathrace 2000/Car Wars style.
