Liza and I finally got the chance to try out the new Cupcakes bakery in Lakeview yesterday (613 W. Briar, directions available on website). I left with one question: How can two people possibly be that nice? Sarah (master cupcake-maker) and Noah (behind-the-counter extraordinaire) operate the place like so many other shops should: with a smile and a genuine “Thank you”. It’s hard not to want to return and support such a great atmosphere and a fantastic couple of people, doing what they enjoy.

And the cupcakes? Unbelieveable. The Apple Cinnamon cupcake with the White Chocolate Buttermilk frosting was awesome. They also have “Pupcakes”, specially-made treats for the pooch in your life. I think this place is my new sweet stop.
