    I know—I’ve never been able to pick a favorite building either. They’re all just so beautiful. One keeps topping the last. Now I just keep thinking of the cover of “Taltos” by Anne Rice. The version with the old antebellum home half flooded with water.

    Thank God this idiot’s wishes are no match for NoLa determination.
