Save The Date: 9/30 Artwalk Opening Night

Hopefully you’ve made it down to the Pilsen East Artist’s Open House (The Artwalk) before now. If you haven’t, I can’t tell you what a truly wonderful time you’re missing out on.

East Pilsen has been a working artists community for over 40 years. Most of the live/work studio spaces surround some of the most beautiful gardens in the city. All weekend long people mill in and out of the artist’s homes, strolling through the gardens, enjoying art, usually beautiful weather, and the unique archetecture that East Pilsen is known for.

This year I’ll be showing photography in the Translucent Chocolates space at 718 W. 18th Street. Joining me will be Annastacia Hubbard [encaustic wax mixed media], Derek Erdman [pop art], and Miss Cari Carter of the Portland Carters selling her jewelry and handmade accessories.

OPENING NIGHT PARTY: 718 W. 18th Street
We will be celebrating the kickoff of the artwalk from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, September 30th with 2 DJs, cocktails, gourmet chocolates from Translucent Chocolates, and tons of art. All of the spaces in the neighborhood will be open, all hosting their own parties, so mill around all you like. The rest of the weekend the artwalk runs from 12noon-7pm.

We hope to see you opening night or at some other time over the weekend. Please be sure to stop in the gallery and say hi!
