Just a reminder
I know living in Chicago, that not everyone can have pet. But if you can, please adopt or foster a dog/cat/ferret/fish/wolverine in need. I rescued a dog. I had a little over a year and a half with him before i lost him to heart disease that we could not stop from progressing. But you know what? every damn minute i had with him, added to the quality of my life and his. I miss him quite bit and I guess I’m a bit emotional right now. i just wanted to say, there are a lot of animals displaced right now because of the hurricane, they’re coming to Chicago and I’m sure with the impending disaster that might happen with Rita, there will be more. Just please remember, they need you and they’ll love you for opening your home to them as well. I miss my puppy, I took him in and he suffered a shitty, abusive life and now I dont know how I’ll ever replace him. You’ll make a world of difference. and yes, they do have souls, so save one.

Moon, I tried to give you a little slack based on the nature of the previous comments you have made on the blog. I thought that maybe, like all of us, you had simply said something before thinking it through, and once you saw you had actually hurt someone’s feelings with your careless comment you would retract it. But no, you just dig deeper. With your last comment you have revealed your true self, and it is ugly.
Oscar’s cute and looks like a slobbery awesome pal CP. Losing pets is very difficult and many people act like you shouldn’t feel bad. You don’t need their approval. There are more superkul dogs out there that really need people like you today.
PS maybe think twice about posting things that you’re not ready to have kicked around. Allow yourself some time to heal privately. The internet is funny but it’s not safe.
