Fast Forward is back!

There hasn’t been a Fast Forward Film Festival for a while, what with co-organizer Sean having moved to LA and all, but registration is now open for the 18th FFFF: “Real Short Stories, films about your weird childhood”. Sign up at Atomix Coffeeshop (1957 W Chicago) by November 11 to make a three minute movie overnight (you get told the exact topic on the evening of the 11th). Even if you’ve never made a movie before, let me encourage you to sign up. I guarantee — yours will not be the worst movie there. (It might even be the best and then we’d all cheer and you’d win a prize.)

If you just want to come to the showing of the films, it’ll be Saturday, November 12 at 8 pm at Open End Gallery (2000 W Fulton).

Fuzzy, have you attempted this feat before?

You bet I have — I’ve done the Fast Forward five times, and one of my shorts made their “Producer’s Choice” DVD.

We might try it. We’ll probably make tons of mistakes and mess it up big time, but it’ll be fun.
