No one has job security on that show, do they?

    Apparently not this season!

I finished the 4th season not too long ago.

Hmm. All of this could’ve been cleared up if Jack didn’t kill the guy who killed Palmer.

Also, the terrorists have the personal cell numbers of the LAPD officers who respond to shots fired calls? Whatever.

This season is starting off like the bullshit soap opera that season three turned into, but at least it’s starting that way, not slowly turning into it.

I do hope Sean Astin’s dad makes a surprise appearance, though. Gomez and Jack Bauer saving the day, with foils.

Damn! I missed last night’s episode(s). 2 days into the new season, and I’m alredy behind.

Okay, I’m still digging it but there’a lready one HUGE plot hole…Jack Bauer would have immediately gone after the dude in the yellow tie once the attack was under way. He would never walk around hugging people and taking his time to secure the one survivor he knew was in league with the terrorists.

    Another huge hole…

“Flank 2 position” used to be a duress code, but was updated to be an acutal position code? Seriously? Where is the logic there? Also, Bill, Curtis, Chloe, and Edgar were all there under Jack’s tenure – they should have known the code. It’s not like the Simposons…

I started to watch this season after the miserable Bears game on Sunday. I’m afraid that I’m hooked. It’s not like I need any more TV shows to watch.

Like Lauren said, the Flank 2 position thing was a pretty obvious thing. But if suspension of disbelief is a primary concern, I probably wouldn’t be watching it.

Hey, I watch ‘Supernatural’ so I guess I can’t go running around calling out ’24.’

good points all around- jack should have been ON that “pretend” hostage who was in with the terrorists. also, yes the terrorist having the first response policeman’s cellphone number was odd- it lead my boyfriend to believe that he was a bad cop (which i guess now it seems he wasn’t). to be clear, i think the “flank 2” duress comment wasn’t used during jack’s tenure at CTU, it was used before he worked at CTU, when he was in the military or something?
