Arthur Butz, a professor over at Northwestern has decided to put a giant sign on his back that says “Berate Me. I’m an asshat” by vocalizing his belief that the Holocaust was a load of crap.

You would think that having a last name like Butz would be enough for this guy, but clearly he feels the need to be emotionally abused – and with good cause. The Hillel Center at NU is holding a community meeting tonight. Because the professor made the comment outside of the academic institution, he can’t be fired.

On a side note, I found it incredibly hilarious watching the news tonight and they had to say ‘Butz’ over and over again. ‘Butz is tenured faculty’, ‘Butz made the comments’, etc. I know, I’m 5. i can’t help it.
