What’s Your Post-Valentine’s Day Resolution?

The day after Valentine’s Day can be like New Year’s Day for singles- in the sense that the holiday is often followed by resolutions to get serious about finding companionship, a relationship, even love. Sure, you can try the bars, the clubs, Craigslist, Match.com or the creepy ads in the back of The Reader, but there’s gotta be another way, right?

Enter Chicago Magazine with their annual search for the 20 hottest Chicago singles. You can nominate yourself or a friend here. (It’s spelled n-i-k-k-o-s. That’s two k’s.)

Unfortunately, Chicago Magazine, as best as I can tell, doesn’t offer a year-end follow-up. I’d love to know if being named one of Chicago’s 20 hottest singles delivers any results or not, but you get a glamour shot in the magazine.

So, Chicago, what’s your post-Valentine’s Day resolution?

I know a woman who met her husband at the photoshoot for the Hottest Singles feature a few years ago — so it worked for both of them.

No shit? Please share the link to this post with them- perhaps they would like to share a comment or two about their experience.

    Thanks!

    Nikkos-
Phillips’ sister’s husband – Jeff Zimmerman – was on the list a few years back. Maybe you can get the inside scoop from him: jazim.com.
