Pre-Sale Lollapalooza Madness

Did you get your $45 pre-sale tickets to Lollapalooza? Well, they’re sold out if you didn’t. I happened to check my email and saw the offer, luckily, and now I have two tickets for all three days coming to me. It took a half hour for it to sell out. Last year it was $35 and no one knew if this was going to be any good, so we waited. Ended up paying $100+ for the two days. This year I am confident that the three days of music will offer plenty of good choices for us to enjoy. Even if the Red Hot Chili Peppers are headlining one of those days.

No! I missed it. I saw the email probably a minute too late, as it seemed to sell out right before my eyes, right as I clicked to buy. Luckily, I know someone who bought 2, and whose wife probably will not want to go. Score for me.

This will be a good 3 days of music…I still don’t understand what the hesitation is on some people’s parts…they’re determined to stubbornly subscribe to the theory that this is just lame, or that it will suck. Is it the Lollapalooza name? Most likely it’s the same reaction to any festival…some do suck balls pretty badly. Eh, who cares anyway. Last year was cool…this year should be even better.
