Chicago, City of Fog

Did anyone happen to see the city from the west this morning? I was driving north on the Kennedy, and I glanced to my right, towards downtown, hoping to see the sunrise. Instead, I saw a huge blanket of fog, covering everything. Everything except for the top 15-20 floors of the Hancock. Couple that with the sun illuminating from the lake, it was a beautiful sight. I was cursing myself for not having a camera ready. I’m hoping that someone out there snapped a pic….or at least saw the same thing..

I saw a shot of the skyline on the local news this morning and Chicago looked like cloud city from “Empire Strikes Back.”

I tried looking up some online cams that featured the skyline but, alas, all you could see was fog. Not very exciting.
