Citywide wi-fi be damned… Bedford Park has got us beat. The city is set to provide FREE (free!) DSL service to all of it’s residents.

To be fair, by all of it’s residents, I mean 553 people by last census count. But still, this is a huge step forward. Any resident who wants service can set it up with a free self-install kit, and the city will pick up the tab.
