Yes, Thursday, April 27 will be the last installment of The Modernist Society Chicago. I’m heading out to DC and I don’t know if I’ll ever return, and Mr. John Dugan is swamped with a zillion bands and editing over at Time Out, so we decided to call it quits.

Tying in with that weekend’s Art Chicago/NOVA mania, we’re revisiting one of our favorite themes, “Fuck Art, Let’s Fuck”. We’ll be treated to a performance by St. Louis art-rockers, Macro Meltdown as well as a guest DJ set by the star of Find Him and Kill Him (and former member of Greenhouse), Todd Gustavson.

So come out and celebrate with us the end of a 2.5 year run at the Darkroom. Also, there will be no cover if you show your Art Chicago / Nova badge or ticket stub Dig?
