It is pretty hard to deny the impact that the Catholic Church has had on Chicago. Any scandal in the ArchDiocese, then, is of interest. Most of these scandals upset me (just because I am lapsed catholic doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings about the church), but the feeling is a bit different when the church in the cross hairs is the one you grew up in.

The church, and the grade school, I grew up in is currently in the news. Its a bit disturbing really; I’d like to think that I know Father Klees rather well. While the audit has not found anything to be out of the ordinary, its just disappointing to read.
