So, besides my brother, his fiancée and their roommate (who is, coincidentally, a buddy of mine from high school), no one showed up for the free beer I offered. Maybe because no one’s New Years resolutions last more than six months, or maybe people didn’t like Skylark (which I find hard to believe, as everyone likes Tater Tots). I’m left with a number of disappointing scenarios for why this meetup bombed; but, I take this lesson to heart.

Next time, I promise, the meetup that I have any input in will be awesome.
