U.I.C.=S.M.R.T

Earlier on a phone call to the UIC Office of Public Affairs, I played a not-so-challenging of “stump the guy who answers the phone” by asking him such ringers as “Who is the alderman for your district?” and “What elementary school do the children who live in the UIC neighborhood attend?”

His well thought out response? “I just work here. I don’t know.”

C’mon guys, what say you give ol’ boy a call at (312) 996-3456 and see how resourceful he can be?

I mean, it *is* the Office of Public Affairs. If you ask enough questions, you’re bound to hit upon one he knows the answer to.

    Hope you don’t mind, I gave the poor guy at the UIC office of Public Affairs your home phone and cell phone numbers so he can call you up and ask you stupid questions. ;)

    whoah, nikkos, ease off. she posted a public number intended exactly for that purpose. i assume she was calling as a possibly future resident/student who was honestly looking for some information on the area, which is exactly what that number is intended for.
