Quitting CrackBerry

Man, Chicago is just all over when it comes to curtailing the annoying infestation of modern technology… first cell phone booths, and now BlackBerry lockboxes.

At the Sheraton, guests who want to return to the serene life before their thumbs were surgically attached to their CrackBerry can turn in their device to the hotel, who will keep it under lock and key during their stay, free of charge.

All of which is fine, until someone asks an exceedingly banal trivia question, and the hotel guests find them griping the now empty space on their belt loop. Oh, the weight of not knowing everything with a few taps of your thumb.
