The Lot

For those that enjoyed this past weekend’s Wicker Park Summerfest, here’s a little something you may have missed amid the bands, sangria, kebabs and general revelry: “The Lot” is a little slice of artistry that’s new to Wicker Park this summer.

Sandwiched in between buildings, in an empty gravel lot, vendor/artisan tents spring up each weekend as a small handful of artists ply their wares, ranging from handcrafted stationery to silk-screened t-shirts (including one intriguing design, which, upon closer inspection, was a crude line drawing of what is referred to in film as a “money shot.” No, I didn’t buy one. There are limits to my bravado.)

Support your local artists- check out The Lot this weekend!
