Worried, Sox fans?

I know, I know. There’s still lots of baseball left. And the GM is known for making trades when he needs to. But 7.5 games back….and that Detroit team is tough…..you worried?

As the season winds down I’ll post additional updates, especially if they’re falling even farther out of the race. Hell, I have nothing better to do. I’m a Cubs fan, remember?

Their in deep shit. Now you’re talking about making up about a game per week on the division leader, and need to play about the same as the Yanks for the Wild Card. I’d say right now they’re on the outside looking in.

    1) We only need to outplay the Yankees for the wild card spot. While it’s good to hear that the annual Bos-NY sadist east-coast postseason lovefest might get cancelled this year, I’d rather Ozzie didn’t sit back and expect to coast into that final spot.

    2) We just traded for Sandy Alomar the other day. I don’t really know what to say to that.

I find all the Soriano rumors fascinating. The Sox might get him just to trade him away, all in an attempt to keep him away from the Twins and Tigers. Ooooh, so dirty.

But trading Scotty for Soriano? I’m sorry, but Pods is too darn *pretty* to trade.

Well, not as pretty as his 3rd HR was the other day, and not Grady “I swear I don’t wear makeup during ball games” Sizemore, but yeah.
