Top secret surprise!

I have to admit, when I saw a post on Digg this morning for a new radio station that is user centered, I immediately throught they were referring to Q101 or, worse, Jack Fm and almost immediately dismissed it. But I looked down the page and saw those 4 sweet letters – W B E Z.

It looks like a nice solution to them cutting out their musical programming: You want music? Fine. Then play your own damn music. Take a look at secretradioproject.com (nice domain name!) to find out more.

That could be very cool… if they can pull it off. But so much for caring about what listener/members want… “Secret” projects aren’t particularly community developed.

They have a goofy sign-up form that gets you a password to get to the real site, which is here:

Of course, then you have to register for the forum. Skip the first step, and start talking.
