Sure, it’s no Intonation/Pitchfork/Hideout/insert your hipster fest of preference, but the 8th Annual World Music Festival is a smorgasbord of music unto itself: check out the FORTY PAGE PDF that lists all of the performers.

Of course, this being a PDF offered by the city of Chicago website, good luck actually getting the damn thing to download properly. I tried over a dozen times this morning, and every single time the request timed out. Go ahead, try it for yourself. Perhaps the City has decided that in order to make the festival more hip, they are instituting a subsurface guerilla marketing campaign in which they will intentionally restrict information regarding the event. Yeah, that must be it.
