My Feet Are Cold

So what’s a good “working” temperature for you? The State of Illinois is lowering thermostats.

Sounds good to me. I keep my house somewhere around 67-68. Of course, certain rooms are always hotter or colder. Do you currently work in a hot or cold building? Do you have a space heater at work?

    I’m cool with 68. *rimshot*

People are going to think I’m crazy, but I keep my apartment set at 61 degrees. If it’s cold, I put on a sweatshirt and if I’m on the couch watching tv or something, I’m always swaddled in a blanket of some type. At night, I use an energystar certified electric mattress pad. It’s FABULOUS.

Maybe I’m crazy. But I’m not paying high gas bills.

Try a portable electric heater. I leave one in my basement on a low setting and the gas heat hardly ever even turns on down there (it’s separate heat than the rest of the mansion).
