Top Model, week two

By the end of last week’s episode of America’s Next Top Model I was certain that the transformation of Chicago’s own Jaslene from too-fiery-to-be-on-last-season to something that could nearly be described as demure was surely the result of medication. (And yes, if you were wondering, it is precisly the point of shows like Top Model to allow us to make sweeping assumptions and judgements about the intensely private parts of the lives of strangers.) But this week the contrast between her straight-to-the-camera “we should talk about this like grown-ups” and her in-the-moment “why are you talking all that smack, dumbass” sounds more like someone took some anger management classes.

And as Dan pointed out in a comment last week, Sarah is from Lake Zurich which means we are forced to acknowledge her as our regional representative as well. Too bad she’s so convinced of her own awesomeness. Time Out’s Annie Tomlin has some gossip about seeing Sarah on model castings.

Yeah, isn’t it odd how Sarah is only 20 years old but she claims to have 90 years of experience? I’ll be pulling for Jael and that one red-head girl.
