Bikes, Trains and iPods
I ride my bicycle for exercise, for quite a few errands and meeting my friends out too. I also love music but would never wear headphones while riding. This guy did.

I always wore my iPod on my bike. You know why? Because I was still engaging my surroundings.
The problem with biking is that is only takes one bad decision or miscue to get yourself killed or seriously hurt. Even at the lowest volume it’s still impossible to hear every car or truck that’s behind you, hear a car door opening or a pedestrian jumping off of a curb.
I’ll take that extra second that my ears will give me rather than a few good songs.
